Good morning everybody...

Where i live we  are at the end of the water line...prrssure and volume are down...pressure shows 10 psi...i bought a water booster here...but does not work well...on my farm i found abandoned steam pipe 21" in diameter...i cut 4 ft of it off...cleaned it up and sealed it...creating a tank of 65 gallons...bought a 1/2 hp pump on sale for 40 000...ordered pressure guage one way valve and switch from u.s.
Should do a much better job...having tank welded up...i can weld...but it aint pretty...so a buddy is doing that for me...
Will let you all know how it all works out...

Hello Gene and everyone,

Too bad I didn't know of your needs. I have a bran new bladder pressure tank, pump and switches. I had the same problem when I purchased the tank etc. I already had a storage tank in the carport so I planned to put this system inline so boost pressure. Then before I managed to get it installed AYA solved their problem so now I have the system I don't need. Just more left over goodies in paradise.

Art,

Gene's a real cabezón!  Even if you paid him to take your pressure tank, he'd still
want to build his own because after-all... he had that big tube stuck in the ground
out on the ranch.  Have big tube?  Must do pressure tank project!  Life is good...  ;-)

Seriously, Gene... that looks really nice.  I wish I found a big tube like that out on
our farm.  I love big tubes!  I'd like to make a human hamster trail underground, but
you know how it is during the rainy season.  I'd have to use tubes to keep my tunnels
from collapsing.  Nice work.  Of course you know you are duty bound and now obligated
to provide a picture of that gauge puffing 30-40 PSI (or 200-275 kPa if you prefer.)

Keeping up with the Jones is getting tougher and tougher!  Now I'll have a neighbor
with a pressure bladder he'll probably hook up to a fountain just to show off!  grrrrrr.
<grumble... grumble... grumble>  Hmm... as a matter of fact, I've got 2 fountain projects
in various stages of completion.  Good idea, Gene!  Before you've got pressurized
water in your tube, I'll have water trickling down the rocks in my wifey's garden!

Your on, buddy!
