  Great to see another venue to share life in Costa Rica! Grew up here, then we moved to the USA. Been back and forth all my life. I moved here with my wife from Mill Valley/ San Francisco, Ca. about 12 years ago. She's a retired civil liberties/wrongful termination attorney, who now teaches English, art,and music. I also retired early and pursued my passion of Photography and Video. While showing Sarita most of Costa Rica looking for a place to settle down, we stayed a few months in Monteverde. We met several people who inspired me to work as a naturalist guide. That was fantastic until the economic down turn in the USA!

  The rest is history. I went back to my building roots, as a journeyman carpenter, superintendent, draftsman, and building inspector. My first projects were in remote locations in the southern zone. After that I was able to advertise online and fix badly built older homes. We still do that, but now offer an ecological method of construction that is faster and more economical for the home owner/developer. Cabins, 1-2 story homes, or businesses built right the first time to code. 

  We are now based in Cuidad Colon to be more centrally located in country, but still have our places in the country...Yours, Jorge Manuel Hoepker D.
