Well, this one seems pretty much in the bag.  It is very unlikely to go to a 2nd round -- maybe already mathematically impossible with over 80% of the vote counted.  Looks like Laura Fernández Delgado of the Pueblo Soberano party is winning every province except for Cartago.  What's up with those folks over there?  jajaja

Even more impressive and arguably more important is that Pueblo Soberano diputados will have 31 of 57 seats in la asamblea.

Folks around here are pretty happy about getting more conservatives running the country.   The poor PLN showing must sting...  Claudia's (ex-president Carlos Alvarado's wife) getting spanked so handily speaks loudly. My 13 year old would have voted for her if she could have -- she doesn't like restrictions on what she can wear in school.  jajaja.

Times they be a changing! 😉
