I had a bit of bad luck a few days ago...
My new lab ... about 3 months old...ran in the road chasing a motor cycle while we were out working on our gate...the motorcycle got him...breaking his back and paralyzing his back legs...
Broke our hearts...motorcyclist was dumped...suffering bruises and gravel rash...
I built a wheel chair for the pup from pvc and lawnmower wheels i had laying around...he adapted quickly...although visibly scared...he tired quickly but i am sure because he is just now eating again...kids and maria all pitch in to clean after and care for him...
Life is tough sometimes...
Buenas noches

Hi Gene,  So sorry to hear about your lab's accident.  He is lucky to have you and your family looking after him.

So lucky  to  have  you. My aging Shepherd  could have used such a devuce. At his age, and condition, decisions  have to be made.
Any one have a hint where I can find me a new guard/pet I would greatly appreciate it.
I know he is what kept us safe here in the country While all around us there have been break ins, and even a home invasion .
I love Bernie 's "pets"
Thanks for any replies.

MariAnn, our last lead for a dog we got from our vet . . . he knew of a moma soon to give birth of this guy . . . BUT see the vimeo vid I posted on Territorio . . . just find the next day they have an open house - they have 1000 dogs that need a home.  Even some tourists have adopted dogs and taken them to the US, Berni
