Dear COSP users,

I'd like to publicise the new COSP web page, hosted in github:
https://cfmip.github.io/

Currently, the web page is minimalistic. It contains :
- A link to the code repository,
- Relevant information for developers,
- A discussion area for users (Users issues): we would like to encourage users to use the 'issues' of the web page repository to suggest and discuss potential improvements to any aspect of COSP. This doesn't replace the issues in the COSP repository, which are restricted to the discussion of active developments.
- A placeholder for papers in preparation. In the Boulder meeting, it was suggested that it would be useful to fill a table with CMIP6 diagnostics and papers that will be using those diagnostics. If you are working on a paper that uses CMIP6/COSP diagnostics and don't mind sharing that information, please let me know so that we can start to populate that table.

Feedback on any additional information that the web page should contain is very much appreciated.

Regards,
Alejandro on behalf of the COSP Program Management Committee

Hi Alejandro,

I think a nice examples page would be good, e.g. one or two model vs. observations comparisons for each of the instruments/data sets currently available in COSP.

Cheers, Mark

Hi Mark,

Yes, I think I could port the Quicklooks page we had in the old CFMIP webpage as a starting point.

Thanks,
Alejandro
