Meeting for COSP during CFMIP Meeting in Mykonos

Hello,

For those of you at the CFMIP meeting next week, the attending members of the COSP Program Management Committee are planning to have an get together on Wednesday October 2nd. The meeting will be informal and will take place in some place within the lunch room.

Alejandro Bodas-Salcedo has created the attached the attached slide summarizing the last developments.  When reviewing the slide don't forget to review the more lengthy explanations in the notes section of this power point file. We would be happy to discuss this or any other issues with you at this lunchtime meeting.

Of course, if you're not coming to Greece next week but want to discuss COSP related matters, there is no problem with contacting Alejandro or I directly or starting a new e-mail thread on this users group.

I know there has been some activity on the RTTOV radiance simulator both updating to the latest version of RTTOV and folks using it with climate models. Not sure if this should be mentioned on the slide or not but thought I should mention it at least.

Roger, thanks for the update. Since this slide is part of a general CFMIP presentation, it does not give specific details of any of the developments, but all the development activity can be consulted in the repository.
