Security BSides events

I'm talking with the organizers and sponsor of the last BSidesDenver event about throwing another one, probably next Spring (March or April). I think this might be a good opportunity to get some free publicity for the COSHack space and group. What do you guys think? Anybody been to a BSides event before? If not... **HIGHLY** recommended. Much more like ShmooCon, DerbyCon, and BruCon from all accounts.

Whaddaya all think?

That'd be slick.  I've always wanted to throw a con around here.. 'Hackin the Rockies'  :)  But letting someone else plan and do all the work sounds better.  Bring on the bsides.

How would we be able to get some publicity during this?  I don't stand at booths unless its ok to get shit face drunk.  

Another question, do they do CTFs at BSides?
