I'm looking at buying this for my home: http://www.roguefitness.com/rogue-r-3-power-rack.php
Curious if anyone has experience with welding/metalwork and if it would be simple and inexpensive to DIY. :)

I have a friend and colleague, up in the Twin Cities, who _teaches_
welding at his local maker/hacker space. Let me forward to him for
input.

Name of Tony Fulda, I'm sure he'll give you his $0.02.

You could def save a little cash as a DIY.. the problem is that the materials used for stuff where humans are under weight or supported etc.. the hardware used tends to be rated in a specific way and thus cost more etc etc... I have a guy in town that can build this stuff and lots of other cool metal work type stuff.. -> Steve Earnest mtldimensio...@gmail.com
