Hello all,

I won’t be at the meeting this afternoon as I’m heading to a funeral in Denver just after lunch time.

Talking with each team this week you all are close to an integrated system which is great.  T minus 13 days until the challenge.  You all have a long way to go with testing ahead.  I know you can do it.  I’ve seen so much learning and perseverance already this year by both teams.  Both teams are on track to have the most capable robots from CU in years.

Please send me a YouTube Video of your working robot when you have it navigating on its own power.  I will be at Space Grant next week if you need anything.  I’ll be in Denver on Monday for a COSGC statewide event and in Boulder T-Th.

1. I have funds for everyone to travel to Alamosa on Friday April 3rd for the Challenge on Saturday April 4th.  I will cover hotel expenses and some of your meals will be covered too.  I will leave Boulder around 10am on Friday so that I can arrive in Alamosa by 4pm.  The drive time is about 5 hours from Boulder.  We have hotel rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn Express for the entire team. One room for the women and two for the men.  We will figure out driving arrangements soon.   Tentatively we are leaving Boulder on Friday at 11am and we will leave Alamosa by 2pm, maybe a bit earlier, on Saturday April 4th.

Chris and Abby/Amber - Can you please let me know who on your respective teams wants to go.  Hopefully everyone wants to go but it is not required. It will be an amazing experience.

2. We will meet in Alamosa no later than 5pm, so everyone should plan to depart Boulder on Friday April 3rd around noon.

3.  Adam, Brett and Gabe - You three are also invited to go to the Challenge.  You have been instrumental to the Challenge and I think you can be a great help with some of the logistics if you are interested in attending.  RSVP with me.

More travel details coming, and let me know if you have any questions.
Good luck during final integration!!

Brian
