Hello everyone,
(Sorry if you get this email twice.  I'm using the cosgc-robotics email list and individual emails I have currently registered for the RC 2013 to make sure I'm reaching everyone)

Two weeks from Saturday Mar 23rd is the event at the Great Sand Dunes.  Hopefully you have a mostly functional robot and are testing about now.  Remember to test in sand and uneven terrain.
It is truly the Final Countdown:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jK-NcRmVcw

Please confirm with me the email addresses and head count from your team.  The attached PDF shows information I need from your team in RED and please include any corrections.

I hope development is going well for everyone.  I'm available anytime March 25-28 (M-Th) next week, between 9-4 if any teams would like to stop by Boulder for any help or advice, or to work with the beacon system.  Please email or call to confirm a time window.

We had a telcon a few weeks ago and heard from some of the teams, however that time didn't work well for all teams.  We discussed project status, testing plans and some hardware which was working for the teams and some hardware which was not working to great ("quick order this…").
The presentations from Western, ASU and Trinidad are posted here and many thanks for sharing your ideas back on March 1.

General Robotics Information:

We will be staying at this hotel and our MakerSpace will be Friday April 5th starting around 2pm for those wishing to arrive early.  We will have some food likely around dinner time.  The goal of Friday is such that as everyone arrives they can insure their robot survived the trip to Alamosa and share approaches and ideas before Saturday morning.  I will send out a more detailed agenda of events for Friday and Saturday, but generally speaking we will start around 8am at the Dunes on Saturday and work in the Sand until about noon then head back to Alamosa for some lunch around 1 and share post-event thoughts.

Don't hesitate to call my cell below too leading up to the event or if you have any questions.
