(great question and sharing with everyone the answer)

In general you can make purchases and SG can reimburse.  Stuff that is time critical, like what you are asking below, and hardware needed for your robot, are great examples of what you can do and then get reimbursed.  Office supplies is something you should not buy and we can’t reimburse.    Try to use the ACARD as much as possible.  Try to keep the reimbursed need dollar amount low and insure it fits in your budget.

I recommend getting reimbursed for your planed purchasing needs below.
