WWF Cameroon is looking for
a Programme Manager in order to ensure the development and implementation of the JENGI TNS Programme to the highest standards, in line with the WWF Cameroon Conservation Strategy.

Required Qualifications - Advance university Degree in an appropriate Field (Conservation, environment, natural resource management, marine, forest freshwater, terrestrial ecology).
- Additional academic training or a degree in a management field would be a
strong asset.
- Proven track record in successfully developing, leading, and managing projects in the field of conservation, natural resource management, international development, and/or other related fields.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in working in conservation or development organizations at management level.
- Must have a broad knowledge of forest and wildlife management and ecology, rural development experience, and familiarity with the functioning of the various contributing organizations
- Familiarity with the WWF network and the other project funding agencies, especially US Government agencies
Required Skills and Competencies - Proven leadership and team management skills
- Skilled in negotiation, liaison and in relationship and conflict management.
- Strong skills in project planning, proposal writing,
financing, management, implementation and evaluation, and experience working with donors
- Strong organisational and analytical skills Strong vocational interest in nature conservation
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to network and to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels, both internally and with local communities, government agencies, the not for profit sector, the scientific community, the business community, and the WWF Network
- Adaptable, flexible, able to take initiative and prioritize among competing demands
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and in French
- Adhere to WWF’s values: Knowledgeable, Optimistic, Determined and Engaging.
