[CfP] Seventh Data Science Meets Optimization (DSO) Workshop at ECML-PKDD 2025

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to invite submissions to the Seventh Data Science Meets Optimization (DSO) Workshop, which will be held in conjunction with ECML-PKDD 2025 in Porto, Portugal on September 19, 2025.

This interdisciplinary workshop brings together researchers and practitioners at the intersection of machine learning, optimization, and real-world decision-making. Topics of interest include, and are not limited to:

- Machine learning for combinatorial optimization

- Optimization techniques for developing (trustworthy) machine learning models 

- Reinforcement learning and black-box optimization 

- Responsible and robust decision-making under uncertainty with data

- LLM-guided optimization 

- Data-driven real-world decision-making applications and case studies

  

We welcome full research papers, short papers, and extended abstracts (see website for details). Submissions will be peer-reviewed and selected for presentation at the workshop and will be invited to a special issue of a journal.
