Leibniz Universität Hannover is on the lookout for a bright and driven individual to join our Institute of AI at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as a Junior Professor in AutoML for FoundationModels!
In our inspiring environment, you can shape the future of AI, collaborate with leading experts at our L3S Research Center on AI, and leverage cutting-edge GPU technology. You'll have the opportunity to partner with the "Lower Saxony Center for Artificial Intelligence and Causal Methods in Medicine“ (CAIMed) to explore applications of multimodal foundational models in healthcare.
We're seeking someone with:
✨ Excellent research expertise in computer science or a related field, with a strong focus on AutoML and a track record of publications at top-tier conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, AAAI, IJCAI).
💡 Bonus points for experience in multimodal foundational models, Large Language Models, Embodied AI, or AI for medical data.
👩🏫 A passion for teaching and ideally, experience in designing and delivering engaging AI-related courses (English proficiency for our Master's program is a must).
