Hello everyone,

our group — the Intelligent Systems Group at the University of Siegen in Germany (previously Trinity College Dublin) — seeks to hire 1 Ph.D. student or 1 postdoctoral researcher, senior research fellow respectively. The contract will be for 4-5 years at the German TVL-13 or 14 salary scale (75%-100%) and a generous budget for travel and equipment. The new hire will work on the topic of automated algorithm-selection for recommender systems. As such you should have ideally a strong interest in both, recommender systems and automated algorithm selection, automated machine learning (AutoML) respectively.
