Dear colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to submit your recent research results to PPSN 2020:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

PPSN 2020
September 5-9, 2020
Leiden, The Netherlands
https://ppsn2020.liacs.leidenuniv.nl
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The Sixteenth International Conference on Parallel Problem Solving from Nature (PPSN XVI) will be held in Leiden, The Netherlands on September 5-9, 2020.

PPSN was originally designed to bring together researchers and practitioners in the field of Natural Computing, the study of computing approaches which are gleaned from natural models. Today, the conference series has evolved and welcomes works on all types of iterative optimization heuristics. Notably, we also welcome submissions on connections between search heuristics and machine learning or other artificial intelligence approaches.

Submissions covering the entire spectrum of work, ranging from rigorously derived mathematical results to carefully crafted empirical studies, are invited.

Following PPSN’s unique tradition, all accepted papers will be presented during poster sessions and will be included in the proceedings. The proceedings will be published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series by Springer.

IMPORTANT DATES
• Abstract submission: 1 April 2020
• Paper submission: 8 April 2020
• Author notification: 28 May 2020
• Camera ready: 22 June 2020
• Tutorials/Workshops/Competitions/Student Workshop: 5 – 6 September 2020
