[Applications open] 6th AutoML Summer School

Dear COSEAL community,

We are excited to share that the 6th edition of the AutoML Summer School will take place in Dortmund, Germany, from July 27–31, 2026. This year’s edition is also part of the ELLIS Summer School program, and we hope it will be a great place for the COSEAL community to learn, exchange ideas, and meet the next generation of AutoML researchers. Why Join?

• Learn about basic and state-of-the-art topics in lectures, hands-on, panels and poster sessions. This year we will focus on agentic AutoML.

• Connect and network with researchers, practitioners, and the AutoML community. We will organize several get-togethers and provide catered lunch to make sure you have as much time for interaction as possible.

• Present your own research in a poster session

Our initial speaker lineup features Joaquin Vanschoren (TU Eindhoven), Kasia Kobalczyk (University of Cambridge), Andreas Kist (FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg), Katharina Eggensperger (TU Dortmund University) and Bernd Bischl (LMU Munich/MCML). Of course, we will continue to expand the program in the next few weeks leading up to the summer school.
