In 2020 the Corvallis City Council adopted a Vision Zero resolution with the aim of making our transportation system the safest possible and to move towards zero traffic-related fatalities and serious injuries.
The city received a grant in 2023 from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program to support development of a Transportation Safety Action Plan (TSAP) that identifies the highest priority safety needs and moves Corvallis towards its Vision Zero goals.
On Monday, April 20th, the City Council will decide to accept the TSAP through resolution. This will allow the city to apply for funding for the many projects identified in the TSAP. Learn more:
