Safer Walnut and petition

Hi,

Is anyone here already involved w/ SAFE corvallis / Safer Walnut?  I was talking to Rob Upson who is heading that project and he mentioned a change.org petition ahead of the 3/16 city council meeting.  A bunch of kids from my neighborhood near Letitia Carson elementary are going to be using this as a potential bike route to Bessie Coleman next year after school closures (assuming they're strong enough to take the hill near Winco) so I'm personally curious how this pans out.
