Subject: McCullough Peak now open - expect road work
Hello!
We just wanted to let you know that the SFI Tie Thin at McCullough Peak is complete, and the closure associated with the timber harvest has been lifted. We will be in to remove closure signs tomorrow. Please be aware that road work will be occurring on roads in this area, and be prepared to encounter equipment along roads.
Harvest operations are also complete on the 530 Viewpoint Thin near the Powder House Trail, and those closures have been lifted as well. Road work remains to be completed in this area, so please bear with us as we work in this area in the coming months. Some of the repair work may need to wait until spring to prevent further damage.
Please note that the 762 Thin is still in progress, and a portion of Road 760, as well as Roads 762 and 720 remain closed. For more information, please visit our website at: http://cf.forestry.oregonstate.edu/current-activities
