After our hiatus for daVinci Days, we are set to resume
Reprap, right? Kassie, are you available this Wednesday
at 7PM? With your laptop?
Agenda:
Calibrate all dimensions.
Test print.
Measure average power.
Make a list of what we need to build/buy to nail this down.
I still need to put together something to hold the spool of
plastic filament.
Recapping from recent notes:
Kassie will print updated Z axis riders. These are where the
x axis stepper is mounted, It's just possible that replacing
them with the newer simpler model will reduce x axis belt friction
enough that we don't have to replace the belt. (But I think
we should anyway.)
If we are ever successful printing anything, we will need to
make some purchases. Kassie is lending her electronics to us.
We need to buy it.

And buy some motor drivers

And some replacement belt

We also will need to completely replace the underpowered power
supply. This fits with my plans to go to battery power. A
lead-acid solves the peak power easily. We need to select a
battery plus charger that will supply the repcrap and charge
the battery, all without danger to the battery. (To do this
calculation I just need the average power during printing.)
