Possibly. It still has all the old mechanical problems.
We will have to replace some parts to fix that.
And we didn't run the heater plus extruder long enough
to prove it works better. But I strongly suspect
it does.
I won't have much time to work on it before the next meeting.
But it will probably be enough. Next week I will be
painting the dining room, where we have been meeting.
So I will move the meeting to the living room. Space
will be more constrained since the dining room clutter will
also have migrated to the living room. I think we will
fit.
Something I forgot to mention is that Kassie says our
reprap power supply is under powered. It is 5A and we
should have closer to 10A peak available. A measurement
I want to make once the unit is working is the average
power. That will spec the battery+charger that I want
to switch this to (in order to have power glitch resilience.)
