Hi, everyone, I hope you are enjoying this lovely almost-Spring!

We are busily planning this season's Citizen's Rare Plant Watch
activities. We are very much looking forward to working with you in
our wonderful Oregon outdoors this year. You will soon receive an
email about our in-person training day on April 5, which you are
encouraged to join in on if you haven't in the recent past. We will
be introducing our new data collection format, Survey123.

This year marks the transition to a new CRPW coordinator. Kris
Freitag has been our fearless leader for years and it's time to pass
the torch to new Oregon Biodiversity Information Center (ORBIC)
Botanist and Mycologist Nora Dunkirk at the Institute for Natural
Resources of Portland State University. This year CRPW should
function as usual, with potentially fewer sites visited as the new
coordinator gets up to speed.

If you are interested in participating with CRPW this year, please
let us know. If you are interested in continuing to receive email
specifically about Citizen's Rare Plant Watch activities, even if
you're not sure you can participate, it would be very helpful if you
let us know as well. More soon!
