Field Trip: Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture
Leader: Will Pearson
Location: 843 SW 35th Street, Corvallis, OR 97331
Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture is an excellent learning laboratory for sustainable horticultural practices in both rural and peri-urban landscapes. Many projects have taken place over the years mixing both native and ornamental species into the landscape. Currently, great camas and western sweet cicely are especially prevalent. OCCUH is pollinator friendly and home to demonstration beehives. Join Will for a tour of the center and get new ideas about how you might incorporate more native plants into your landscape.
