Thanks, Frank. That is the blog of the founder of HubSpot! Our company uses HubSpot for hosting our website and for inbound marketing.
I was looking around and found some downloads from ‘Conversion Rate Experts’ that will be of interest (attached). Of course, those were my “freebies” for subscribing to their blog!

Hi all, I am looking into developing small business mobile apps for Android phones, iPhones, and iPad. I would appreciate your honest input.
What do you think of mobile apps that would allow you to send push notifications to your customers (if they opt in), as well as coupons, plus provide info and easy access to your website, Facebook page, Twitter, and photos all in one place? The cost would be under $1000 for development of the app plus an annual fee for continued maintenance (because of upgrades to software and advances in phone technology.) If you wanted to manage your notifications, you could subscribe to a dashboard to do that for a monthly fee. Currently app development is much more costly, but I am evaluating a software package (with expensive annual license fee) that expedites development time.
It is very early in the game for small business and may be a good time to stake a claim to your name or product.
Thanks for your input. I look forward to hearing from you.

Cindy,
I’m not sure our business would use this app. We use Aweber for email distribution of communication and special offers. Would it be something they install & choose to access our consolidated media?
Thanks,
Scott

Yes, they could consolidate Facebook, website, RSS feeds, etc. plus any info about opening times, plus have the ability to push out notifications regarding sales or important updates.
