Modern medicine can keep people alive under extraordinary circumstances, but at what cost? And when treatment conflicts with personal dignity and quality of life, who decides how to proceed? Dr. Cliff Hall, chair of the Ethics Committee at Good Samaritan Hospital, will address these and other questions about medical ethics at the Corvallis City Club on Nov. 14.
As always, attendance is free, and lunch is $8 for members, $10 for non-members. City Club meets in the Banquet Room of the Renaissance Building, 136 SW Washington, 12 noon to 1:15. To save a seat, send email to nickho...@aol.com with "City Club Nov. 14" in the subject line. See more at cityclubofcorvallis.org.
