CAMTA volunteer opportunity next Tuesday evening...from the comfort of your own desk and computer!
MTA National is about to launch their new database and they will rely on
local affiliates to input data. But we will also be able to use the
database to contact petition signers (either from our gathering or those
who sign online) to send email blast, meeting and event announcements,
etc.
I can imagine using this during our Corvallis ballot measure campaign to
contact voters reminding them of the measure and to solicit volunteers
for lawn sign posting or other volunteer opportunities.
We need a few other folks to attend the online database training on Tuesday, May 29 at 5pm PDT.
You do not need any special database skills to operate the system, just
be comfortable using online applications and completing data forms
entry. You could participate in the training and, if you are not
comfortable with the procedures, opt not to participate further.
Please use the following link to register. Once you
register, they'll send you a confirmation email with more info.

Then please let me know when you've registered so I can keep a list of our participants.
Thanks,
Bart
