Tomorrow there are two exciting events happening at OSU Campus, a conversation on #BlackLivesMatter and Palestine Solidarity (details below) at noon MU 208, La Raza room, followed by the Million Student March against rising tuition, growing student debt, and poverty wages for university employees starting at 2:30 MU Quad! From Baltimore to Palestine: Israeli Apartheid and the New Jim Crow

This Thursday, 12 noon, in the La Raza Room, Memorial Union Building, Room #208

This is the fourth installment in the 'Radical Visions towards Another Politics' series at OSU!

Organizers from Occupation Free Portland will be discussing the relationship between the US and Israel and potential links between the rise of‪#‎BlackLivesMatter‬ and Palestinian autonomy.

They'll examine the settler-colonial history of both the US and Israel as well as the exportation of Israeli Defense Force tactics and training upon US police, the increase of surveillance in both nations, and the birth of resistance movements that share common ground with the potential for solidarity against these governments.
