Good evening,

I was building trying to build the `mqnic_core_pcie_us` testbench, but encountered many problems when building it with Verilator, so much so that I haven't been able to get it building.

For context, I'm doing this in a docker container, based on Ubuntu:24.04, the Dockerfile is also attached, and the `corundum/` directory I'm using is just a submodule from the Corundum/corundum repo (though, I did also try this with https://github.com/alexforencich/corundum, as I saw in another conversation, but that didn't make a difference).

If you have any advice on how I could get this to build successfully, that would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Pierce

Hi Pierce,

I never tried to simulate with Verilator, out of the box it should work well with icarus verilog. Read this [1] documentation and you should be good to go. Although, Alex has been working on a new version[2] which supports Verilator(not icarus verilog). This new repository is under restrictive license so reach out to him if you are thinking of monetising through the library.

Thanks,
B Krishnan Iyer
