Hi there!

I'm in India with family and they want to go out this evening. So I can't make the call today - apologies

I've got a bunch of outstanding PRs in various states of review:

- #850 - should be GTG, waiting review

- #844 - back to me for some work, hopefully one small change then we can merge

- #808 - I want to merge + run this in out dev env before merging to master, as things have moved on and wanna make sure it doesn't break

- #713 - this is next up for me

We've added a lot of checks on the incoming traffic recently; I wanted to discuss how this was going, and if we should perhaps be moving some of these to the distributors?

My plans for the next few weeks / month:

- The long discussed transfer improvements

- Benchmark & improve distributor; we're seeing lots of latency here

- Cheaper heartbeats (related to #851)

Goutham can fill people in on the call as to motivation; I'll catch up on the notes after the meeting
