I think the point of the config option is because it's a feature that isn't
in the original game and so people might want to disable it to keep
faithful to the original. I'm inclined to agree with you though Maarten,
because in this instance it is very easy to avoid.

I suppose it raises the larger issue of how we will deal with nonstandard
features when they inevitably become more prevalent.

I should say that we should make a menu in-game with all options which you
can choose in config.txt? But this is already listed in at the wiki.

#5: Yes. This is one of the things I maybe miss the most when talking about
GUI.
A options/settings window that can change all these values (and warn if a
restart is necessary).

When I try to apply the patch, I get a lot of failed hunks errors and they

Mark, could you upload a new patch, which fixes these errors and maybe you
could remove the config option (as said in comment 2 and 4)? Then we could
test this great option!

Have tested this a little now, and it seems to work fine!

It takes a shorter time for the patient when there are two nurses in the
room, which is great.
But it doesn't take a remarkably shorter time when there is six nurses in
the room (I think). This is OK, and means that just adding nurses won't
affect the time too much beyond two nurses. Am I right about this?

I think this could be added right away.. Or do you want to do some testing
first, maarten?

In the save for the loo issue that ward as loads of nurses and I did notice
that patients were only in one or two days. It would normally be around
ten days or a little longer.

After thinking about what you saw, I remembered that it is the skill and
the number of nurses that determine length of stay. So you could have five
poor skilled nurses and it could take as long as having one high skilled
nurse.
Put two or three nurses with the highest skill and the patients would only
be in bed a day or so.

I have made a start on adding one, can't find where it is in the wiki
though. For now it will only be settings that can only be changed in
config.txt, but that could change later - though we don't want anything
that is too big and complex do we?
