Conversations are ongoing within all walks of life. This forum will detail an exercise used as a creative non-fiction attempt for students to enter a conversation based on National Public Radio’s series “This I Believe” series. This encourages students to consider purpose, audience and their own ethos when entering an academic conversation. It can be used in any discipline as a way of understanding ongoing conversations within academic communities.
