Phase 1 Description:
To offer wellness support to first-year writing students, one instructor designed a semester-long journal with daily prompts. Students were encouraged to cultivate writing habits that would promote wellness throughout the course of their college experience. As they shared their responses with the instructor, exigencies for evidence-based and ethical responses were created.

Phase 2 Teaser:
Here you will find a page from the Wellness Journal we will discuss during our talk. I will discuss my experiences with the journal so far, as my students are using the journal this semester. Stephanie will tackle some of the challenges with addressing wellness and mental health in the classroom.
