I know there's a lot of remix packs out there, but I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some expired ones from a few years ago? I'm talking about house style remix stems, not just acapellas, but the parts to the songs such as bass and synths. Cheers :)
Hence, on this platform, you can find high-quality stems directly from the artist/producer to remix, cover or draw inspiration from. For example, Pheonix Studios offers a subscription for $2-10/month and gives away the stem and multi-track packs for their original and cover songs, tutorials for mixing-mastering, 1-week early access to new content/music, requests/polls for upcoming covers, discount codes, monthly general mixing and live QnA, and more.
An interesting feature is that the website allows you premium access for a subscription fee of $2, for which you do not get any ads on the website. Another interesting feature is that you can get free access to the premium membership for an entire year if you upload the stems of your songs/remix/cover to the platform.
Anyone can submit their multitrack packs and contribute to the platform, and many artists/musicians/producers/DJs upload their music to it. You can find stems of different genres like pop, electronica, R&B, disco, prog house, reggae, rock, hip-hop, and many more. There are thousands of songs for which you find the construction kits, down to every sample and instrument. You can also find regular remix contests on the website, for which the winning DJs and producers are rewarded.
Often these rewards translate into good feedback, if not a quantifiable price, and sometimes even into career-making deals or meetings with A&Rs. These stems are also great for creating mashups, remixes, live performances, or just inspiration for new tunes or melodies.
Situated in Amsterdam (HQ), New York, and London, the company promotes music via remix competitions, inviting producers to participate in it and access stems & multi-tracks of songs by artists like ARTY, Autograf, Eelke Klejin, and more. A subsidiary of the company is Armada University, which sells courses on music production, and holds contests, review demos, and more. In addition, they host remix competitions and giveaways as part of their community-building activities.
After you install GarageBand, three types of additional content (collectively called content packs) are available to download in the Sound Library: sound packs, Producer packs, and Remix sessions. Sound packs contain sounds, loops, and other kinds of content you can use to build songs. Producer packs contain content similar to sound packs, created by well known producers and artists. Remix sessions contain Live Loops grids with original tracks from popular songs. Producer packs and Remix sessions are available for download in the Producers and Artists section of the Sound Library.
Each content pack in the Sound Library has an icon and a name, and shows a brief description and preview button when you tap it. The descriptions for Producer packs and Remix sessions also contain a short video.
Some sound packs may also be required in order to perform certain tasks, such as opening a GarageBand song created on another device. If so, a message appears asking if you want to download the required sound pack.
Remix Sessions contain original tracks from popular songs arranged in a Live Loops grid that you can rearrange and remix to create your own version. Remix sessions are created by the artist, together with Today At Apple and Apple Music. Remix sessions downloads are available for a limited time.
You can manage content packs to free up storage space on your iPhone. The total amount of space used for all installed Sound Library content is shown at the top of the list. The size of each pack is shown in the list.
NES Remix Pack is a compilation title on the Wii U consisting of both NES Remix and NES Remix 2, released at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for a combined price. As such, the game features every remix challenge from both games, as well as the same Miiverse features before the Miiverse shutdown in November 2017. The Championship Mode from the second game is also available to play at any time from the start.
