Dear Silvia,

Thank you for being interested in Corra!

Corra is heavily used in several institutions for high MS1 accuracy machines
like Orbi and FT dataset. I am not quite familiar with MALDI TOF TOF and
don't know how well Corra will do with MALDI data. More specifically, You
can use
http://tools.proteomecenter.org/wiki/index.php?title=Software:ReAdW to
convert ABI raw file to mzXML and try out Corra.

Let me know how things are turned out!
Cheers,

Mi-Youn.

Subject: information on Corra

Hello Mi-Youn,
I am a Post-Doc student at the Institute of Clinical Physiology in Pisa
(Italy). We work on plasma proteomics for biomarker discovery in
cardiovascular disease.
We use mass spectrometry (LC-MALDI application) for identification and
comparative analysis of peptide profiles. Our approach is a label-free
LC-MS-based quantitative proteomic methodology. I discovered your
software Corra and It seems very useful also for statistical analysis.
We have a 4800 MALDI TOF TOF Analyzer (Applied Biosystem) and we adopt
an HPLC separation before maldi analysis. So at the end for every sample
we can create a profile (rt- m/z- intensity) using a tool named mzML
Exporter (Applied Biosystem/SCIEX).
Is mzML format supported by your software?
If not, could you suggest me any tools for conversion from mzML to mzXML?
Thank you in advance

Best Regards
Silvia
