Dear Doug,

We are currently running Corra v3.1 with GWT 2.0.4 on Linux 2.6.18-274.12.1.el5 #1 SMP Tue Nov 29 13:37:46 EST 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux.

We are running little bit latest Linux version but I don’t think your problem is due to linux. I think you are using too old Corra v1.0.

We do not have enough support resources to branch out for Corra v1.0.

Thus, I am highly recommend to upgrade your Corra to v3.1 which also contains newer GWT version.

Also, in the Corra group discussion forum, we also provide Virtual Machine image snapshot for you to reference your system setup.

Please take a look at that too.

All my best,

Mi-Youn

Hi Mi-Youn –

I updated Firefox to v11.0.  Unfortunately, the problem persists.  The following line is displayed in Firefox’s Web Console:

[07:52:57.403] $doc.getBoxObjectFor is not a function @     http://10.18.3.10:8080/CorraApp/20CB778D17A890BBE46D89006104DDF1.cache.html:283

After logging out of Corra and logging back in, these additional lines are displayed in the Web Console:

--

[07:57:04.989] POST http://10.18.3.10:8080/CorraApp//login [HTTP/1.1 200 OK 0ms]

[07:57:05.245] POST http://10.18.3.10:8080/CorraApp//corrasetup [HTTP/1.1 200 OK 16ms]

I’ve attached a screen shot from Firefox.  The projects listed are ones I created while using the Internet Explorer 8 browser.

Here’s system information:

Corra: v.1.0 running on:

[root@oscar_server ~]# uname -a

Linux oscar_server 2.6.18-128.el5 #1 SMP Wed Dec 17 11:41:38 EST 2008 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Accessed from PC running WinXP SP3,  Firefox 11.0

Thanks,

Doug

Dear Doug,

Sorry for the delayed response. I was out of town visiting Universities and symposium that now I got it back.

I do not encounter problems you mentioned. I am currently using most updated firefox v11.0.

Would you try with newer version of firefox?

Some more sleuthing on the Web suggests that the problem is due to an incompatibility between the version of Corra we’re running (1.0) and the current GWT.  It appears that the .getBoxObjectFor function has been replaced by the function .getBoundingClientRect() function.

It looks like updating our Corra installation would be in order based on your release notes for v3.1.  Any suggestions for how to do this efficiently?  I’ve inherited the cluster and am still learning my way around it.

I’ve encountered a glitch when accessing a Corra installation on a cluster on our intranet via Firefox v7.0.1.  I’ve tried running Firefox with all add-ons disabled but the error still occurs.  Here is the error as reported by the Firefox Page Source tool.  I suspect this is a Firefox problem as it does not occur when I use IE8, but any guidance you can offer would be appreciated.  I tried posting to the google Corra group but my group membership is still pending.
