Job Title: Digital Experience Architect – Telecom BSS/OSS

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Digital Experience Consultant to lead the architecture and design of next generation small business digital self service platforms within the telecommunications domain. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in telecom BSS/OSS systems, enterprise architecture, and digital customer experience platforms. This role will drive end to end solution architecture across digital channels, customer onboarding, service provisioning, and self service capabilities while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Digital Architecture Leadership
Lead end to end architecture for small business digital self service platforms including plan comparison, quoting, CPQ capabilities, e signature workflows, identity verification, credit validation, and zero touch activation.
Customer Experience Platform Design
Design digital onboarding journeys including connectivity setup, device pairing, number porting, and customer account management capabilities.
Digital Service Experience Development
Architect digital care capabilities including chat support, callback workflows, knowledge base integration, and self service account management.
Telecom BSS/OSS Architecture
Design solutions across telecom systems including CRM, billing, order orchestration, inventory, service assurance, and field operations platforms.
Product Bundling Architecture
Enable bundled service offerings combining connectivity, devices, and enterprise solutions such as SD WAN, security services, and unified communications.
Data Driven Customer Experience
Implement architectures that enable real time usage insights, contextual recommendations, and targeted upsell opportunities using analytics and AI driven models.
Solution Architecture Development
Define and document solution architecture including system mapping, integration strategies, and technology selection.
Architecture Governance and Lifecycle Participation
Participate across the full project lifecycle including discovery, design, implementation, and deployment to ensure architectural alignment and completeness.
Requirements and Design Workshops
Lead architecture and solution design workshops to gather requirements and determine system integration strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with product owners, business leaders, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable system architectures.
System Integration Architecture
Define integration patterns, interface specifications, and end to end data flow architectures across enterprise platforms.
Non Functional Architecture
Define non functional requirements including performance, scalability, security, reliability, and operational considerations.
Technology Evaluation and Innovation
Conduct research, proof of concepts, and prototyping activities to evaluate emerging technologies and new platforms.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
Minimum 12+ years of experience across enterprise architecture, application design, development, or system integration roles.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in telecommunications or MSO environments with strong expertise in BSS and OSS systems.
Minimum 4+ years of experience designing large scale enterprise solutions.
Experience integrating complex enterprise platforms including COTS, SaaS, and third party systems.
Experience working within architecture organizations delivering enterprise technology roadmaps.
Strong expertise in telecom platforms including CRM, billing systems, order management, service assurance, inventory management, and field operations systems.
Strong knowledge of digital customer experience platforms and digital service channels.
Experience working with GenAI and LLM based technologies including RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques including forecasting, anomaly detection, NLP, and recommendation systems.
Knowledge of telecom industry standards including TMF, MEF, ITIL, IETF, or IEEE frameworks.
Strong leadership skills managing cross functional teams and multi vendor delivery environments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with leadership teams and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Experience designing telecom digital experience platforms for small business customers.
Experience implementing AI driven customer engagement or digital automation solutions.
Experience working with telecom CPQ systems and automated service provisioning platforms.
Experience Required
Minimum 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, telecom platform architecture, or digital platform architecture roles.
Proven experience designing enterprise scale digital customer experience platforms within telecommunications environments.
