Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize secure and highly available cloud infrastructure for a financial-services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, networking, security, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code, along with an understanding of the regulatory and security requirements applicable to financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage Azure infrastructure across production, non-production, and disaster-recovery environments.
Deploy and administer Azure Virtual Machines, VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Private Endpoints.
Implement highly available and resilient infrastructure supporting business-critical financial applications.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with significant hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure.
Strong knowledge of Azure networking, compute, storage, identity, security, and monitoring.
Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Strong scripting/automation skills using PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.
Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, firewalls, routing, load balancing, and hybrid networking.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Azure Policy, and managed identities.
Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux workloads in Azure.
Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity concepts.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience working in enterprise environments with strict security and change-management requirements.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
