Job Description:
The Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting
cloud‑based platform capabilities that enable application, microservice, data,
and AI/ML solutions across the organization. The role involves building
foundational platform services, streamlining developer onboarding, supporting
microservice deployment workflows, improving system reliability, and enabling
secure and scalable application environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support platform services used for hosting applications, microservices, and AI/ML workloads.
- Build and improve onboarding processes that help developers deploy applications and microservices efficiently across the platform.
- Implement automation for infrastructure, deployment workflows, configuration management, and operational support.
- Ensure platform scalability, stability, security, and performance through continuous improvements and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate applications and microservices into standardized platform patterns.
- Support end-to-end development lifecycles by enabling consistent build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root‑cause analysis to enhance reliability and availability.
- Participate in architectural reviews, help define platform standards, and contribute to long‑term platform strategy.
- Document technical processes, onboarding guides, operational procedures, and platform usage best practices.
- Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to deliver platform enhancements aligned with business needs.
