Position: Oracle CPQ Techno-Functional Consultant (formerly BigMachines)

The consultant will drive the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) transformation, specifically supporting customer’s complex product catalog of laboratory instruments, reagents, and diagnostic standards. This role requires a blend of technical development in BML and functional business process expertise.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Process Engineering: Translate Bio-Rad’s global commercial requirements into scalable CPQ configurations, focusing on harmonizing sales workflows across 37+ countries.
• Technical Development: Design and maintain complex configuration and constraint rules using BigMachines Language (BML) and BMQL.
• Pricing & Logic: Implement multi-tier pricing, discount structures, and margin validations to support diverse customer segments (hospitals, biopharma, research labs).
• Document Generation: Develop and automate branded quote templates and contracts using Document Designer or BI Publisher.
• Integrations: Lead technical integrations between Oracle CPQ Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS or SAP) using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Release Management: Manage the impact of Oracle CPQ quarterly updates, performing regression testing and sandbox validations to ensure zero disruption to commercial operations.

 

Technical & Professional Qualifications:

• Platform Expertise: 5–8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ Cloud (formerly BigMachines).
• Scripting Proficiency: Deep expertise in BML, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL/PL-SQL for data validation and custom logic.
• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in Life Sciences or Medical Devices is highly preferred, with a focus on Quote-to-Order processes.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
