Java Developer (React + Kafka + DB Integration)

Alpharetta GA

Contract

Qualifications/ Skills:

·         5+ years of work experience primarily with building enterprise server-side applications using Java/J2EE Technologies

·         Strong expertise with Kafka, React & SQL DB Integrations

·         Multithreading & Concurrency

·         JVM fundamentals (memory, GC basics, performance tuning)

·         Extensive experience with Spring framework

·         Strong experience with Relational Databases (RDBMS)

·         Excellent SQL skills

·         Joins, subqueries, indexing, performance tuning

·         Snowflake experience is a strong plus

·         Good working knowledge of Linux / Unix

·         Shell scripting

·         Log analysis

·         Process monitoring

·         Understanding of application deployment and runtime environments

·         Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as: Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps

·         Git-based version control

·         Build tools (Maven / Gradle)

·         Exposure to containerization like Docker is a plus

·         Kubernetes (nice to have)

·         Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies, Jir

·         Ability to review code

·         Snowflake or cloud data warehouse experience

·         Cloud platforms: Azure/AWS/GCP

·         Messaging systems: Kafka / RabbitMQ

·         Microservices architecture

·         Security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSO , SAML concepts)

·         Performance optimization and troubleshooting in production systems

·         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

·         Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

·         Ability to work independently and in team-based environments

·         Ownership mindset and attention to detail.
