The customer is specifically seeking a PLM UAT Lead with strong hands-on Teamcenter / PLM consulting experience combined with strong User Acceptance Testing (UAT) leadership and business-process expertise.
Do NOT submit candidates who are primarily Testing, SDET, or generic UAT professionals without demonstrable PLM / Teamcenter experience.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PLM UAT Lead with 8+ years of experience managing User Acceptance Testing for complex, highly integrated enterprise projects.
The ideal candidate will combine strong Teamcenter / PLM consulting expertise with proven experience leading end-to-end UAT activities, release management, business-process validation, test strategy, test planning, and cross-functional coordination.
The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, PLM teams, BPR, IS&T, project management, and development teams to ensure that PLM solutions meet business requirements and are successfully released into production.
Key Responsibilities
PLM / Teamcenter Leadership
- Provide hands-on expertise and consulting support for PLM / Teamcenter environments.
- Work with business and technical teams to understand Teamcenter functionality and business processes.
- Validate Teamcenter solutions against business requirements and expected user workflows.
- Support PLM-related releases, enhancements, integrations, and production changes.
- Collaborate with PLM, business, BPR, and IS&T teams throughout the UAT lifecycle.
UAT Leadership
- Manage end-to-end UAT activities, including test process management, team coordination, execution, and communication of results.
- Develop comprehensive:
- UAT strategies
- Test plans
- Test cases
- Test scripts
- Test reports
- Ensure requirements are clearly defined and testable.
- Validate that user and business expectations are achieved during testing.
- Create and maintain UAT test data.
- Track and communicate UAT risks, issues, dependencies, and results to Project Management.
- Maintain UAT metrics, including SLAs and KPIs.
Release & Change Management
- Facilitate successful releases of system enhancements and new functionality from development through production.
- Develop and maintain release processes and documentation designed to minimize customer impact.
- Lead cross-functional teams supporting release project plans.
- Conduct and support post-release and change reviews.
- Coach project managers and other team members on UAT and release best practices.
Business Process & Requirements
- Work closely with project teams to understand business requirements.
- Review requirements documentation to ensure requirements are complete and testable.
- Strong understanding of business processes is required.
- Experience with sales and sales operations processes, particularly in consumer channel sales or similar environments, is highly preferred.
- Facilitate business-process discussions and brainstorming sessions.
- Capture lessons learned from implementations and incorporate them into future UAT planning.
Testing & Environment Management
- Coordinate smoke testing activities.
- Facilitate sales-environment planning.
- Coordinate production refreshes.
- Review and validate master data flows.
- Facilitate UAT triage calls.
- Work with IS&T and business partners to drive issues through resolution and closure.
- Ensure testing activities are properly documented and traceable.
UAT Knowledge & Best Practices
- Create and maintain the overall UAT knowledge repository for the BPR team.
- Develop and maintain UAT best-practice guidelines and templates.
- Incorporate lessons learned to continuously improve test planning and execution.
- Understand test automation framework design models and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience managing UAT as a Test Lead for complex, highly integrated projects.
- Strong hands-on PLM / Teamcenter experience – Mandatory.
- Proven experience as a PLM Teamcenter consultant or functional/technical lead.
- Strong understanding of Teamcenter business processes and PLM workflows.
- Strong UAT strategy, planning, execution, and leadership experience.
- Experience working in an Agile environment – Mandatory.
- Experience with multiple release/change-management methodologies:
- Agile / Scrum

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and project lifecycle phases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
