We are seeking a Technical Scrum Master & Change Agent to help drive a greenfield tax system implementation for the AZ Department of Revenue. This role is primarily remote with occasional on-site meetings in Phoenix, focusing on guiding a dynamic team through a Waterfall-to-Agile transformation.
What Youβll Do
Coach and mentor a team transitioning from Waterfall to Agile practices.
Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies to deliver measurable outcomes.
Remove technical roadblocks and manage complex organizational dependencies.
Assist the Product Owner with backlog refinement, prioritization, and technical input.
What Weβre Looking For
10+ years leading large, complex enterprise system implementations (Tax, Fintech, or Public Sector preferred).
3β5+ years as a Scrum Master in software development.
Technical background (prior software development experience preferred).
Hands-on experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for tracking and backlog structure.
Background handling COTS product implementations and vendor coordination.
