Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Terraform, experienced in cloud application migration and advanced AWS services. The role requires in-depth knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud environments, excellent troubleshooting skills for production-level issues, and the ability to create and maintain runbooks for ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Azure cloud application migration projects and provide end-to-end support.
Develop automation scripts using Python and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
Configure and maintain GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.
Work with AWS core services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
Utilize additional AWS services such as Systems Manager, Inspector, and Config for enhanced monitoring and compliance.
Diagnose and resolve critical, unknown production issues and develop runbooks for Level 1 (L1) support teams.
Ensure cloud server optimization, security, and scalability across environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6–8 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
Proficiency in Python, Terraform, and GitLab.
Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud and application migration strategies.
Advanced understanding of AWS infrastructure and management.
Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex production incidents.
AWS Professional-level Certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
