Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (WMS / Supply Chain Integration)

Location: Carlsbad, CA – Onsite Role

Duration: Long Term Contract

H1B Only 

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and business processes, specifically supporting warehousing automation, order processing, and complex system integrations.

 

Technical Skills & Qualifications

1. Core Systems & WMS (Required)

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst.
• WMS Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Manhattan WMOS (versions 2010 and 2018).
• ERP Systems: Experience working with major ERP systems such as Enterprise One (JDE E1), SAP, or BAAN.

2. Supply Chain & Execution Processes

• PPS Process: 2 to 3 years of experience working with processing environments that support the Pick, Pack, Ship (PPS) cycle.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Warehouse Management (WMS), Transportation Management (TMS), and Order Management Systems (OMS).
• Preferred Tool: Experience with QAD Precision / Trax is highly preferred.

3. Database & Middleware Integration

• Databases: 2 to 3 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), including developing/analyzing stored procedures and triggers.
• Integration Technologies: 2 to 3 years of experience with middleware and integration systems such as XML, webMethods, or Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM).

4. Reporting & Automation

• Business Intelligence: 1 to 2 years of experience with data reporting tools like IBM Cognos or Power BI.
• Warehouse Automation: 1 to 2 years of experience supporting machine automation systems on the floor, including:
• Conveyors & In-line weigh scales
• Print & Apply applicators
• Case sealers

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize, and document business workflows within the warehouse execution and shipping ecosystems.
• Collaborate with technical teams to map data flows, troubleshoot integration gaps (XML/webMethods), and write complex SQL queries for data verification.
• Act as the functional expert for Manhattan WMOS and ERP platforms to ensure smooth Pick, Pack, and Ship operations.
• Liaise with automation vendors to streamline machine-to-software communication on the production floor.
