Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Developer with strong expertise in implementing and customizing the Vulnerability Response module. The role focuses on automating vulnerability management processes, integrating external security tools, and enhancing visibility through dashboards and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with ServiceNow development, strong knowledge of CMDB and ITSM processes, and the ability to design scalable solutions for vulnerability lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and customize the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module to support vulnerability identification, prioritization, remediation, and reporting.
Design and implement workflows, business rules, client scripts, and automation for vulnerability lifecycle processes.
Integrate ServiceNow VR with external vulnerability scanners and CMDB for automated data ingestion and correlation.
Configure MID Servers, data sources, and API integrations for vulnerability data processing.
Develop automation for vulnerability assignment, remediation tracking, and exception management.
Create dashboards, reports, and performance analytics indicators to track vulnerability KPIs and trends.
Collaborate with security and IT teams to improve vulnerability management processes.
Ensure data accuracy, system performance, and compliance with security standards.
Support troubleshooting, enhancements, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
6–8 years of experience in ServiceNow development and platform customization.
At least 2+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module.
Experience working with ITSM processes and enterprise service management platforms.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module configuration and customization.
Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM processes.
Experience integrating with vulnerability scanners such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or Prisma Cloud.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and REST or SOAP integrations.
Experience configuring MID Servers, data sources, and API based integrations.
Experience building dashboards, reports, and performance analytics within ServiceNow.
Soft Skills

Preferred Qualifications
