Responsibilities

Optimize DB2 queries and application performance.

Job Title: Senior Cloud Integration Architect
Location: Chicago, IL
Experience Required: 10+ Years
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Integration Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale cloud integration solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in distributed, event-driven architectures, Azure integration services, hybrid cloud environments, and enterprise data modeling. This role requires both strategic architecture expertise and hands-on technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Define enterprise-wide integration strategies, including canonical data and event models.
Design integration contracts and data modeling approaches using relational, event-based, and Data Vault methodologies where appropriate.
Architect Azure-based solutions for data ingestion, processing, and downstream integrations using Azure Container Apps, AKS, and related services.
Lead hybrid integration architecture across Azure and on-premises environments, including networking, security, deployment, and connectivity patterns.
Design and implement event-driven integration solutions using Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, and other messaging platforms.
Develop architecture documentation, including Solution Design Documents (SDDs), connectivity diagrams, security designs, disaster recovery plans, and observability strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish standardized integration patterns and resolve technical challenges.
Provide hands-on support for solution development, troubleshooting, validation, and implementation when required.
Required Skills
10+ years of experience in enterprise integration and cloud architecture.
7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Strong expertise in designing and implementing distributed, event-driven systems.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Hubs.
