Role Overview

We are seeking a US-based Solution Architect to play a critical role on the JMS program. This individual will serve as a hands-on technical leader responsible for architecting, designing, and supporting the delivery of complex, integration-centric solutions across the full lifecycle—from design through build, test, and production go-live.

This role requires strong integration expertise, the ability to work in a hybrid onsite–offshore delivery model, and practical experience applying AI capabilities to modern enterprise architectures.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead solution architecture and technical design for the JMS program, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and alignment with enterprise standards.

· Own end-to-end technical delivery across design, build, test, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.

· Define and govern API-first and event-driven architectures.

· Incorporate AI-enabled capabilities into solution designs where appropriate (e.g., automation, intelligent routing, data enrichment, analytics, or operational insights).

· Partner closely with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to drive successful execution.

· Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting when needed (this is not a purely advisory role).

· Collaborate effectively with offshore delivery teams, providing clear designs, documentation, and technical oversight.

· Support and contribute to migration and modernization initiatives, including legacy system transitions.

· Act as a technical liaison with stakeholders, translating business needs into well-architected technical solutions.

Required Experience & Skills

· 10+ years overall IT experience, with 5+ years in a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Lead role.

· Proven delivery experience across the full solution lifecycle: design → build → test → go live.

· Strong hands-on experience with:

o API gateways (Kong preferred)

o Event-driven systems (e.g., Solace, Kafka, MQ)

· Experience designing secure, PII-aware architectures, including:

o Data masking/unmasking

o Encryption in transit and at rest

· AI experience, including:

o Designing or integrating AI/ML-enabled services into enterprise solutions

o Working with AI capabilities for automation, data analysis, decision support, or operational intelligence

o Understanding model integration patterns, data requirements, and governance considerations

· Cloud experience (AWS preferred) and strong collaboration with DevOps teams.

· Comfortable being hands-on when required, not just providing oversight or guidance.

· Experience working in a hybrid onsite/offshore delivery model.

· Experience supporting migration projects and system modernization efforts.

Nice to Have

· Experience applying AI to integration platforms, messaging workflows, or operational monitoring.

· Familiarity with data pipelines and analytics that support AI solutions.

· Prior experience in regulated environments with strong data governance requirements.

Communication & Leadership

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Comfortable working across business, product, and engineering teams.

· Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and provide clear technical direction.
