Please provide Coronium product version, hosting provider, and OS.
Hi!
First of all thanks Chris for all your works on Corona,
I've been using your Parse plugin from the first release and it's really awesome.

So... I've been trying to install Coronium on a DigitalOcean droplet, following the video on Coronium.io docs, but at the end of the install procedure Coronium is  not starting. Even the shell commands don't work. Not really sure why...

I noticed from the install.sh logs that many components are not installed and missing (by the way, even the figlet to show the Coronium logo at the end of the installation is missing).. and also, when the installer says to run mysql_secure_installation... well it doesn't work (I have to apt-get install mysql manually).

The Ubuntu on the droplet is 14.04.3 x64 (on the 10$/mo plan).

Do you have any idea what could be the issue?
Thanks for your help,
Ruben

Hi Ruben,

I'll take a look. It may be just a simple update.

Cheers.

Hi,

I've updated the install script. It should work now.

Log into a fresh Ubuntu 14.04 droplet and run:

Cheers.

Hi Chris, finally installed and working, great platform!

There's an issue I'm having though.
When I log an user it gives me an error "Invalid modifier specified $currentDate".
I googled it and, if I read it correctly, it looks like the $currentData modifier is supporter on MongoDB >v2.6.
On my DigitalOcean droplet the version of MangoDB installed by Coronium installer is 2.4.9.
Does it need to be 2.6?

Thanks

Hi Ruben,

Let me double check where it's pulling from. It's possible that the wrong version is being pulled (everything was moved around since first installer).

Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Ruben,

My apologies. I have updated the install script and it should hopefully be working now.
Cheers.

Thanks!
I updated the MongoDB to 2.6 and it seems to be working ok now.
Are there any specific function that requires a newer version?
Better to stay at 2.6 or should I upgrade it?

Hi Ruben,

Based on the underlying drivers, you should stick with 2.6 for now.

Cheers.
