My approach to roundterminals which are supposed to look like circular rounded terminals, is tomake them just a little more blunt than a circle. The black contour in theterminal on the right side of the image below, is a semicircle; while the redcontour is a little more blunt. In my Seconda Round, I made terminals round asin that red contour.
I'm using react-circular-progressbar library, unfortunately, I'm unable to change font-weight of text. Although I'm able to manage text size using textSize property in styles object but font-weight property isn't working. I tried its variations as well,(e.g. textWeight, fontWeight) but nothing seems to be working in favour of mine.
Also, I want to change the background of the completed section in the circle and I couldn't find such functionality in any of the pre-available types. Here is the link to codesandbox for better explanation: -fontweight-x4xnuh
This means that buildStyles is a shorthand. You'll need to provide the elements of which you want to customize the style. See the docs second example. You can change the fontWeight like so, without using buildStyles.
Hi Jim thanks for the links, I found the hand generator tool you link but nothing for generating the circular text fonts so thought I'd make something that made doing both easier. Hopefully the tool might help people who want to make circular text watch faces in future

Thought I'd add an extra use case: if you would like to apply a custom font weight to your rounded SF font on something like a text field, while still maintaining dynamic font scaling, you can do the following:
I was recently using the font awesome icons for a webpage I was creating, which provide a really nice scalable set of general purpose icons, and I wanted them to appear on a circular background, something like this:
So we need to specify the height and width explicitly, and this leads us to also need some rules to get our icon centred horizontally (using text-align) and vertically (using line-height and vertical-align). So if we update our CSS style like this:
Stacked icons are basically drawing two font awesome icons on top of each other. Font awesome comes with the fa-circle icon which is a solid circle, so we can use that for the background. We need to style it to set the background colour correctly, and we use fa-stack-2x on this icon to indicate that it must be drawn twice the size of the icon that will appear to be inside the circle. Then we put both icons inside a span with the fa-stack class, and we can still use the regular font awesome styles to choose the overall icon size, such as fa-4x. So here for example, I have
As you can see this is a nice simple technique, and I prefer it to the CSS approach. Font awesome also includes circles with borders, so if you want to create something like this (I used three stacked icons), you can:

When experimenting with the Beamer class I noticed that when using the default SF font (which is Computer Modern AFAIK) in boldface the corners are rounded. It looks like completely different font. (And I think it is. Look at the shape of the 'o' (oh) which became squared instead of rounded.) I have never seen this before on fonts: bold is usually a bold version of the original font. Is this normal/intentional? Why?
On a side note, for this post I had to create two documents. For the life of it, I have not been able to change the font back to Computer Modern Sans. Although I set the document default to Sans, this command would show Computer Modern with serif. Only when I comment out \usepackagehelvet I can get the Computer Modern font.
The Workstations is the number of computers you can install the fonts to work on. The first option Swiss Typefaces provides is the right to install the fonts from up to 10 workstations. Print, websites, mobile apps, electronic publications, broadcasting included. Read more about licensing.
Since its emergence almost a hundred years ago, the Geometric typeface has always been popular. Based on elementary geometric shapes and constructed of monolinear lines, it was invented to be functional, leaving behind anything that can be regarded as superfluous. Designers love the genre for its rigor and purity. The straightforward shapes are associated with modernism and eternalness alike. Swiss Typefaces offers the best Geometric typeface ever.
Swiss Typefaces built this finely graded palette so that designers can pick exactly the Geometric typeface they need. Especially in branding, precision is crucial. Each of the five flavors offers a special expression which can be just the right solution for the visual identity you are working on. Euclid provides a variety of fine-tuned typographic voices within the canon of the Geometric typeface. Your choice may be informed by project-based requirements or personal taste. The great thing is that, whatever Euclid you settle on, it will always meet the high quality standards of Swiss Typefaces, in terms of aesthetics and technology.
All Euclids were designed in five expedient weights. In addition to the default proportional lining figures, there are tabular and old-style figures, including optional slashed zeros. All fonts support a large number of Latin-based languages (Euclid Flex additionally covers Cyrillic characters) and are equipped with features for professional typesetting like fractions, superscript and subscript numerals. A set of arrows comes in handy for directing attention in lists or charts, in corporate publishing and elsewhere. In sum, Euclid is the ultimate Geometric typeface.
A Variable Font is a special kind of font file, which contains multiple fonts within it. This technology is interesting because it essentially enables static fonts to become dynamic and shift in appearance.
